Our Team
Our Dental Group’s TEAM includes an experienced group of Registered Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, a Sterilization Technician, a Laboratory Technician, an Office Administrator, Practice Coordinators, and a Business Manager.
Registered Dental Hygienists
Our hygiene team consists of six experienced Registered Dental Hygienists. Some of the services provided by our dental hygienists may include: patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting, taking blood pressure and pulse. They are experienced in taking and developing digital dental x-rays, removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth, administration of local anesthesia, teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health, counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health. They update their skills regularly by attending continuing education courses.
Dental Assistants
Each doctor has a team of Dental Assistants experienced in providing support for each of the doctor’s dental procedures. Our dental assistants perform many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. They give personalized attention for the patient’s special needs during treatment. They are experienced in assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures (fabricating temporary crowns chair-side during crown appointments), taking and developing digital x-rays, taking impressions of patients’ teeth for study models, helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment, providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling). Our dental assistants also describe and schedule treatment for our patients.
Sterilization Technician
Our Sterilization Technician manages our sterilization facility and keeps our office current by following the strictest sterilization OSHA standards. Our technician is tasked with the proper handling, cleaning, assembly, testing and packaging of many kinds of dental instruments. The usual methods of sterilizing are with heat or chemicals. Our technician supports all members of the team and ensures all instruments are sterilized and prepared for safe use in our procedures.
Dental Laboratory Technician
Our Dental Technician provides services, skills and techniques which allow our practice to complete some procedures on premises. Some repairs can be done the same day.
Office Administrator
Our Office Administrator oversees the full operation of the dental practice, from the clinical to the administrative and business components of the office.
Practice Coordinators
Our Practice Coordinators have friendly and comforting personalities. They are responsible not only for helping arriving and departing patients, but also for keeping dentists on schedule, handling phone calls and insurance claims. They are available to provide scheduling, treatment and payment information. They put our patients at ease and are excellent at multi-tasking.
Business Manager
Our Business Manager is available to overview insurance payments, set up payment plans and facilitate patient financial responsibilities. Our business manager is our practice liaison with patients to insure optimal customer satisfaction.
