Dr. Leslie
Ann Rye has provided family, cosmetic and implant dental care
for over 30 years in Reston, Virginia. Regular participation
at conferences and workshops in all areas of cosmetic, implant,
general and sports dentistry keeps Dr. Rye and her dental team
constantly updated. Dr. Rye’s family practice has a special
focus on individualized care for achieving oral health and beautiful
smiles.
Dr. Rye has earned special recognitions as a Fellow in the Academy
of General Dentistry and the Academy for Sports Dentistry. In addition
to private practice, She had lectured in academic and clinical
subjects for several years at Georgetown University’s Dental
School and currently is an adjunct associate professor for the
hygiene program at Northern Virginia Community College.
After graduating from Georgetown University School of Dentistry
in 1978, she completed a residency with the Veteran's Administration
Medical Center in Washington, DC. She is a past President of the
Academy for Sports Dentistry and has served on boards of several
professional and community organizations. She is an active member
of the American Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society,
the Academy of General Dentistry, American Association of Women
Dentists and local dental study clubs. Our practice actively participates
in many school and community outreach programs throughout the year.
Dr. Rye and her husband live in Falls Church, Virginia where they
raised their three sons.
