Dr. Leslie Ann Rye has provided family and cosmetic dental care for over 25 years in Reston, Virginia. She was named a "Best Dentist-2005" in the Northern Virginia Living Magazine. The family practice has a special focus on individualized care for achieving dental health and beautiful smiles.
She keeps herself and her staff updated by frequently attending dental conferences and workshops in all areas of cosmetic and implant dentistry.
After graduating from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1978, she was affiliated with the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and was a consultant to the National Naval Dental Education Center in oral medicine. In addition to private practice, Dr. Rye had lectured in academic and clinical subjects for several years at Georgetown University's Dental School. She currently is an adjunct assistant professor for dental hygiene at Northern Virginia Community College, and continues to teach continuing education classes for dentists.
Dr. Rye is president-elect for the Academy of Sports Dentistry, a leading organization in dental sports injury prevention and treatment. She also is an active member of the American Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She also maintains memberships in the American Association of Women Dentists and local study clubs for implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry
Dr. Rye and her husband live in Falls Church, Virginia where they raised their three sons.
