Welcome to our office.
The following financial policy guidelines are intended to provide
our patients with a clear understanding and communication of office
policies. It is intended to be helpful in planning and carrying
out your dental care.
We will give you a written treatment recommendation and fee estimate
for any recommended care.
Payments are
expected in full at the time of services. Payments can be made
by cash, check, Visa or Master Card. For extensive treatment
or periodic hygiene visits, we can apply any insurance benefits
and/or work out a financial plan.
Insurance is very confusing and changes constantly. Each policy and contract is different. Insurance payments are a method of reimbursing
the patient according to the contracts between patient (or employer)
and the insurance carrier. Staff will help our patients file insurance
forms but ultimately it is patient responsibility to understand
and know your eligibility and insurance coverage. Our treatment
recommendations are based on patient needs, not on insurance benefits.
However we will try to help our patients obtain any benefits for
which he or she may be eligible. Each patient is responsible for
his/her own family account and may use benefits to pay towards
that account.
If you have
a “closed panel/HMO insurance plan” that
requires you to go to only a dentist on a provider list, we are
unfortunately unable to help you. Dr. Rye
does not participate in any "closed-panel programs." |
